At Ministry of Sneakers, every listing is labeled with a condition rating so you know exactly what you're buying. Here's what each rating means.
Never worn. The sneakers are in original, unworn condition — exactly as they came from the manufacturer.
The sneakers have been tried on or worn very briefly indoors, but show virtually no signs of wear.
Worn a few times but very well maintained. Minimal signs of wear that are barely noticeable.
Worn regularly but still in solid shape. Visible signs of wear but no major damage or defects.
Ministry of Sneakers does not accept sneakers rated below 8/10. We maintain strict quality standards to ensure every buyer receives a product worth their investment.
Every pair of sneakers shipped to us undergoes a thorough authentication and condition check by our expert team. If we find that the actual condition of the sneakers does not match the seller's stated condition rating, the following actions will be taken:
Sellers: Always be honest and conservative with your condition ratings. When in doubt, rate one level lower. Upload clear, well-lit photos from all angles — this protects both you and the buyer.
Upload clear, well-lit photos from multiple angles: top view, sides, sole, toe box, heel, insole, and any areas with wear. Natural daylight gives the most accurate colors. Include a photo of the box and tags if available. The more transparent your listing, the faster it gets approved and the happier your buyer will be.
Deadstock means the sneakers are brand new and have never been worn. They are in original, unworn condition exactly as they came from the manufacturer, with original box and tags included. Minor shelf wear from storage is acceptable.
Used 10/10 means the sneakers have been tried on or worn very briefly indoors with virtually no signs of wear -- soles are clean and there are no creases. Used 9/10 means worn a few times with minimal signs of wear such as very slight toe box creasing, but no stains, tears, or significant marks. Both conditions look nearly new.
Returns are accepted within 3 days of delivery for items in original condition. Every pair undergoes authentication and condition verification before shipping, so the condition you receive will match the listing. If there is a discrepancy, contact support for assistance.
The seller assigns the initial condition rating when creating the listing. Our expert authentication team then verifies the condition during the multi-point inspection process. If the actual condition does not match the seller's stated rating, the order may be cancelled and the seller may face penalties.
